-- The right hand knotter closest to the chamber consistently misses two bales straight out of every 75 -- 100 bales. The knot is perfect on all other bales. The left knotter never misses a bale.

-- The baler produces "banana" bales. Seems to do a little better on large winrows.

several things to look for.are the hay dog and springs ok?is the twine finger/needle clearance ok,or too wide?(only needs to be 1/16 of an inch)Does it miss when you get a 'slug'?(string may be slipping from the twine holder disk).Banana bales come from too small of a wndrow.BUY a book,Buy it now!it will have a troulbeshooting section, and other musthave info.lots more possibility, too many to answer here.good luck.

The way I remember getting banana shaped bales was from cramming the baler too hard. The cut side was thicker than the far side from the feeder. As I remember that was from ten or less strokes to a bale.
