We had another thunderstorm roll in here wednesday evening just as we finsihed chores. We got 1.25 inches of rain in about 45 minutes. There was a fair amount of wind but no hail. After the storm moved out it quickly cleared off so I went to check on the crops and cattle.

Even after a pounding rain we had a nice sunset

Took this pic looking south east out of one of the cattle sheds after it cleared off here. This would have been about the time it was raining around bloomington probably.

Wrigley went with me and helped me check on things. Both crops and animals were well. The weather man is promising better weather the next ten days I sure hope he is right. Everybody keeping busy in the wet weather? We built fence in the mud today. Its a horrible job but when you cant do anything else, fence building is a good project.

Glad you and the animals made it through the storm ok. Good to see Wrigley's doing ok.

We're unseasonably dry in E. Tx. Watched the radar on my computer off and on yesterday. At one point, it said it was raining at the farm.

Pulled up the stats this morning to see how much rain we got and it said 0. Go figure.

Well, maybe today. Forecast calls for a 40% chance.

Always good to hear there was no problems with that storm. Wrigley looks good, as ever. Probably smelling better than he was, seeing as how he's riding in the truck again.

Misread that word the first time through, and was trying to figure out the joke. Guess we know where my mind is. . .
