neighbor was given a 1942 glen miller airforce album . contains records, pictures of band and other info . looks to be in good shape and complete . he is wondering if it has any value .

He had quite a few recordings with the Army Air Force Band. Which album? There are quite a few variables go into price. In short, if the album is in excellent shape, a first pressing &/or not disgustingly overproduced & reissued, it might be worth something.

Hello Dave, is that on the Capitol label? If it's Decca, that's a spoken word 78 & may be his only release on that label. If it is a Capitol 78, "Music to Make You Misty", is the name of the album the song(s) originated from. If you can, post a photo of it. Otherwise, if you could describe the label, I might be able to figure out the value. - Mike

It's in storage right now. It has woman's face on the front and I think is a Capital label. I haven't looked at it in several years. Dave
