LOOKING FOR THE PAINT SCHEME FOR MY SUPER A. I THINK I HAVE THE RIGHT COLORS JUST WANT TO BE SURE. I KNOW THAT I HAVE THE CORRECT COLOR FOR THE RED BUT NOT SO SURE FOR THE RIMS. IF ANYONE COULD PLEASE GIVE ME SOME HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS MUCH.

They were originally zinc plated the best I could find was zinc rich galvanize paint from sheriwilliams ud

Way to go Ron Makes one feel superior if they know caps means shouting. Wonder who came up with that gem of stupidity. By the way, CAPS don't bother me in the least.

I use Hammerite silver paint, as it was the closest I could find that looked like Galvanized

I used Rustoleum "Stainless steel" out of a rattle can on my rims. It's less shiny than the aluminum paint some guys use. I think it is a pretty good match.

The silver from Case-IH looks good. It goes on great with a fine brush if you dont want to masj off and spray. Some have followed with clear cote realy looks fine. Its work but removing the tires and sandblasting is best and much easier to paint. i think its worth the time. I do them myself as i have a sandblaster and then prime with the white primer from Rust-oleum. That way the fims will be good for another 50 plus yrs.

proper english on a site about tractors get real if someone wants to write in caps its fine some are o0lder as the eyes just aint what they used to be.This site is supposed to be tractor related and you say we need proper english.

Proper english, yeah, why not?

You guys whine and cry when hispanic and black people don't use "proper english" and you send forwards all over the internet campaigning to make english the official national language by an amendment to the constitution.

If you can't speak and write properly in the english language, you got no business complaining about other people's inability to use the language. That's called hypocrisy.
