Looking for Warner Swasey forklift owners.

I recently purchased a 1975 Warner Swasey 1600 LG forklift, 8000 lb lift capacity. I do not have a service manual for it and would like to find one or at the very least, get a photocopy of someone's. I'd also like to be able to exchange photos and repair information with other owners. Please contact me if you are one. Finding a parts source - someone parting out a Warner swasey forklift, would be very helpful too.
I've got some small repairs and some restoration work to do on mine. I want to correct some of the small modifications done to mine - battery box, seat, hood latches, steering wheel needs replaced or recast and horn button missing, tilt and side shift cylinders need resealed, I'd like to replace all hydraulic hoses, Some wiring needs to be cleaned up and organized better, Muffler bracket needs fixed, going to make a new muffler to manifold pipe in stainless, probably going to strip a lot of the paint and repaint. I want to get this forklift in good looking, clean, reliable shape. Thanks, Brad

It probably uses a power train from a tractor. I'd guess Ford but I know both Ford and Massey made power trains for other OEM's and that included a lot of forklifts. Cylinder seals can be matched up at a seal house. Dave

Yes you are correct, I've heard it said that it use A ford 3000 drive train. But I'm really looking for other owners so we can share some detailed information on this forklift. Over the years if something broke, people didn't necessarily fix it correctly back to how it was. There are a number of things on mine I have specific questions about-brake pedals, gearshift, hood prop rod and chain, electrical components, muffler bracket/muffler setup, etc.

I just called my local Gradall and the service guy gave me some leads for parts.

Haven't called any of them yet so don't know what they'll have.
I'm working on my forklift now. I need to buy a seat, a need to repair the differential lock. I think it has a small cylinder in the linkage that's non functional. My steering wheel has a missing horn button and parts. I hope to find a replacement or parts. I'm having a stainless exaust tube made, which will attach to a new stainless muffler. A new optima battery is going in, and I'm powdercoating the instrument panel, floor decking, batter box panel and a few other parts and reinstalling my rebuild cylinders. Pics later.
