I heard once that on a dltx jd carb denny's took out the little brass plugs to rebuild them and drove steel balls back in, I would go ballistic if they did that to my carb.

Roberts is still in business. It changed hands and moved across town. Haven't met the guy who bought it yet but I think he kept on the staff Robert had.
