Took a little trip into the Ozarks yesterday.

Since it was raining at home yesterday, we hit the road early and drove down to West Plains, Mo to look at a baler. Really enjoyed the ride, nice country down that way, especially enjoyed watching an Amish family hauling hay across the highway with a team. Will be making the trip agian with truck and trailer Thursday or Friday, as wet weather is in our forecast for the week.

Shoot on your trip out this way you could always slip a little bit north to the lake of the Ozarks area and stop in a say Hi. I have had a good many Y-Ters stop in over the years.

Old, I have some fond memories (and some NOT)of the Missouri Ozarks. While stationed at Ft. "Lost in the Woods", a couple of friends and I took my car to Osage Beach for a week-end, this was in the spring of 1963. If I remember correctly, they were in the process of building some new, fantastic resort at the time(???). On another week-end, we went to Rockaway Beach. Still remember navigating those hills in the "58" Belvedere.
