Can happen that quick

Was loading the lawn tractor w/aluminum ramp on shop floor and ramp slipped and tractor flipped up just about over backward on me!! Luckily I was able to scramble out.

Another try

Yep, accidents happen fast. Glad that you weren't under that lawn tractor. Would have sure put a damper on the day, maybe worse.

I always Drill a 3/8 inch hole in the end of all of my ramps and corresponding holes in my trailer decks and pickup tailgates. Then I drop a bolt or pin in Before I load or unload. it has been a life saver for me. "An ounce of prevention"

A very good idea. I had a little hill I would back my pickup to when I used the ramp so there was not that much of a angle to go up, but you can't be too safe.

That is the reason I built this 5'X8' Tilt Trailer. just about lost one myself. would never load on to a PU. I have replaced 8" wheels with 14" about two years ago.

We had a neighbor that was killed two years ago doing just what you where. The deck hits and the tires spin the ramps out from under you.
Spend a little time thanking the man upstairs that it wasn't your day to be hurt.

Ramps should be pinned, but it wouldn"t come back over on you if you BACKED onto the trailer. Same with bigger tractors.
