Shade Canopy

Plan on putting a shade canopy on my 4020 and was wondering if there is any advantage with the 5 bow over the 3 bow. Should be stronger but I have no experience with them. Thanks.

I have the 3 bow axle mount canopy. Very pleased with it. Strong...I hit a big low hanging pine branch going about 3 mph, lots of scratching and rubbing sounds, canopy bent back but sprung forward again so no injury except the material had to be dry cleaned. It would take a severe wind to hurt it. I have to lower it to park my tractor in it's shed and the 3 bows are quick and easy.

I use a 3 bow axle mount on my 4020 and I like it. It has been on the tractor about 8 years, with no troubles at all.
 
I have a 3 bow on my 4010 and 2510. Both are really good. They used to have one that mounted right to the fender bolts on the tractor. I don't think they are available anymore. I had the axle mount on one for awhile and it got in the way sometimes. I refused to drill holes in my fenders for the fender mount. I finally found one of the older style at a sale.
 
YES, dry cleaned. How else am I supposed to get pine tar and ground up pine needles out of the material? It's a white canopy and I want it to look nice on my childhood Farmall H. If you suggest I should have tried some suds or whatever, you don't know me. I don't do things halfway.
