Case 580D saga continues (long)

Got the filters and put them on today, took the line from the filter housing to the pump off to check the inline filter, noticed the fitting nut had been rubbed down into the fitting threads by the throttle linkage some time before I got the tractor, so I got the nut and new seals find out the fitting is no longer available, 5/16 OD tube with fine threads, gonna be tough to find, maybe Mcmaster-Carr.
Then could not get the fitting out of the housing, took it off the engine so I could heat it a little (brass fitting in aluminum housing) all I managed to do was round it off with visegrips, is now soaking in PB blaster.
Anyone have other ideas?
Also find out now looks like I have a pump for a turbo engine (mine is nonturbo) by the pics in the book.

Just found an online parts lookup, seems they started using the same injector pump for turbo on nonturbo engines after a certain engine S/N, which I have the newer nonturbo and an older book for P/Ns. Didn't know that before.

I'm bettin that the brass fitting is molded right into the aluminum and that you will be looking for a new filter body. could be wrong but I've never seen that insert come out and I have many years experience on those engines. Those nuts have to be available as well, just gotta get with a old line Case parts person who has a clue. mEl
