PTSD progarm on DTV channel 267 tonight

Did any body else see it?? If you did maybe you can now understand why I get so mad at the V.A. and maybe have some compassion for US vets.

I missed it Old, would you care to let us know what they said?

I've been going to the Chillocothe, Oh. VA for over 2 years now for my breathing problem & now they've decided to give me a Pulminary Function Test. Dr. decided to change my meds & called to te;l me to stop taking the old ones I was on. They were gonna semd me a new script. Same thing I've been taking. They sure do look at your records don't they. Steady going down hill & can't understand any of the Dr's--Don't think they hire Americans anymore. Keith

Well ,I"m not going to dispute your assesmant of the va where you are ,I just got to tell ya, I"m GREATFULL FOR THE CARE I GET FROM THE V.A.in superior. Been with this Dr for a number of years, and He sure knows .Kept me alive for over 8 years now,and I get GREAT TREATMENT fron them.I Have a family Dr who is also a great physician,Between both ,I couldn"t ask for better treatment.Both exchange information on my medical treatment.Maybe it would be benificial for you to have a local care giver(DR)to confer with the DR you are scheduled to see at the V.A.
Both couldn"t be wrong if the information is passed back & forth. JMO. LOU

In my opinion they have all the compassion required for vets. I don't doubt that you have a problem with them but it doesn't exist for me. I just wish I could get one of those checks so I could afford DTV.

The only way I can get TV is to have a dish when they went digital I could no long pick up TV signals where I live. As for affording it did you know there is discounts on it and on your ATT phone bill if your a vet??

I had been getting good service then they switched my doctor and now it has been months since I have seen her and the last 4 or 5 appointment have all been canceled and no new ones are being made. I'm about to ask to be transferred back to the Columbia MO. Hospital instead of the local clinic. This new doctor I see forgets to update my meds and order them etc. etc.

Yep it is going down hill. Both my old doctors retired not long ago and the new ones are either not good or I do not see the same ones over again. I got transferred to a local clinic and that doctor has canceled appointment after appointment and I have not been seen since way back in OCT. I'm about to ask to go back to the hospital at least there you did not get canceled over and over again.
As for what the show said it would take 2 or 3 pages to fill you in. But lets just say it had things like there are more vets. that committed suicide more then any other part of the U.S. population and more that are homeless then any other group of people in the U.S. and the VA is little or no help in those ways plus they talked about the over all mental health of vets being poor etc etc
