update on to30 pto shaft

put a chain from shaft to drawbar with boomer, got it to give me about another inch and half then wouldn't budge, afraid to put much more on for fear of breaking something in transmission,..any sugestions....

You can remove the cover on the left side where the pto lever gos in and look in there. If you can't see anything then you will need to remove the top three point cover. Then you can look and see what is catching the shaft from sliding out.
I have seen them twisted from hitting something. They will not slide out through the hydraulic pump. You will need to cut the shaft and remove it in pieces.

just trying to put seal in to stop leak,..whats the process for cutting the shaft out ? do you use cut off tool ? will it require removal of the pump ?? sorry for all the posts on this one but anyone that's been into one of these has to know more then me,...if i pull this thing out as far as i can and cut it against the pump will there be enough room to drive it out forward ?
