10 tons per acre yield is something to brag about! What"s your secret

Jerry the secret is just good management.
Soil Tests before we start.
Careful research on varity yield at several states.
Eighteen lbs. per acre seeding rate.
Adequate irrigation.
Fall seeding
Harvesting at right time every 21 days.
Apply foliar fertlizer after each cutting through the irrigation water.(Can be sprayed on.)

Where are you located and how many cuttings do you get. I used to think they got high yields in the Columbia Basin 7-8 T/A in 5 cuttings, but you"re beating that.
 
Jerry we are located in Oklahoma. We got five cutting last year. We may only get four this year. Had to spray for grass after the first cutting. Volunter Marshall Rye and Crab Grass. It is about ready to cut and is really nice. Feedingit with liquid fertlizer really makes a difference. Here is information on last year crop.We are waiting for tesrs on tia years first cutting,
