Squirt's real name is "Rumor Has Itsa Jack" - he's a 9x ApHC western speed and jumping champion. Only 14 1/2 hands so he's kinda small- technically a "large pony" (anything over 14 1/2 is technically a bona fide horse)- so he was always the "squirt" in our string. 27 straight wins over fences out here in Va. I'm real proud of BOTH little guys!

Perhaps he will remain interested. When growing up had several horses because mom loved them and she tried very hard to get her three boys involved. Dad had too many miles on a horse drawn cultivator and plow to be the least bit interested in horses. For us boys not a chance, if it didn't have an engine for propulsion we weren't interested. Much easier to add gas or diesel rather than catch,saddle and bridle. Might have been different if ranching out west.
