Speaking of Bombs

Be Wary of Plastic Bottles that looks like litter

Be careful of plastic bottles lying in your yard...or anywhere.......usual 2 liter types

Be careful and watch the video if you don't believe it.

Pay attention to this.

1. a plastic bottle with a cap. 2. a little Drano. 3. a little water. 4. a small piece of foil. 5. Disturb it by moving it; and BOOM!!
6.. No fingers left and other serious damage to your face, eyes, etc..

People are finding these bombs in mailboxes and in their yards, just waiting for you to pick it up intending to put it in the trash. But, you'll never make it!!! It takes about 30 seconds to blow after you move the thing.

See "SNOPES" below....it's true. This happened a few days ago...April 27, as a matter of fact.

We have been playing with that for years. The explosion time is very unpredictable.

I think someone said that now Homeland thinks it is part of being a terrorist.

About 20 years ago, a niece of ours would take some aluminum foil, roll it into a string, cut off BB sized bits and put a dozen or so in a 2 litre plastic bottle. She'd then add a quarter cup of "Right Stuff" drain opener, screw the cap on tight, and throw it out into the back yard.

In a few minutes it would sound like a cherry bomb going off.
It does work.

A bit of dry ice in a two liter pop bottle does the same thing, without the corrosive residue that Drano will yield. Co-worker's kid was making those kinda bombs and throwing them in the lake at a July 4th party a couple years ago.

"So....Ya gonna tell everyone how to make meth next, now that bomb making 101 is over?"

It's not really much of a secret.

Yep. Google "meth" and get thousands of sites. But in the off hand chance there's one person left who doesn't know how to make a bomb at home, or whip up a batch of meth, why tell 'em.

Those may be illegal too, and I wouldn't want to mess with those either, they're too unpredictable.

I worked in a drain cleaning plant for seven years in maintenance everyone knows aluminum and caustic soda do not get along the main ingredient in Drano. We had the worst drains in the US. Liquid nitrogen cannot be contained which we know in the bottling business which is why we use only a half a drop in a 32oz. bottle of water to develop 8psi in a PET bottle to make it firm nothing new here.

yup they even outlawed plastic pellet guns -less the end of barrel is florescent orange. wonder If I should paint my 9mm glock the same ?

LOL at least I get the first shot
