I have a 1466,that we have retired from farming,it is in the shop undergoing a new paint job.My question is I would like to some farm stock pulling, but still be able to do lite farm work as well, such as spraying and grain cart. The local rules state as long as it came from the factory,no add on parts. What kind of ponies can I get out of this ole girl, and how? I also have a dyno, she is at 150 at the present. Thanks

went to a farm stock pull today in Culpepper , va. those around 150 couldn't get the wheels to spin on the track . those at 600 finished at the top of the class , don't know the gear they were pulling but they were clocking them at about 14mph.

Just how deep is the check book. at a whoppen 150 on a western pull you may not hold a candle to a so called antique . As the last antique i put together that looked STOCK was sporten 609 cu. in. and the old M&W dyno could not bring her to her knees at over 200 and this was only a 4 cylinder . So even if you went to a 466 with a 15 MM head pump and a worked over 3 ls charger you would still be sucking hind tet

150! Thats low! I know a guy who has one as a chore tractor and it is dynoed at 235. Saw the readings myself. Pulls a 22 foot disc in the spring and runs the silage blower and auger cart in the fall.
