Hi Gang,

Since it is too wet to farm, I've been cleaning the garage for the past couple of days.

Got it to the point now that I'm almost certain that the bench is somewhere under that pile over there along the west wall.

Geeze! What a mess! :>)

I can commiserate with you...been "at it" for a week and will probably be "at it" for 2-3 weeks more at the slow pace I'm going. I did realize that I'm going thru "stuff" I hurriedly cleaned out of my Dad's shop in '94 after he passed away and that I've not had time to process. Guess now that I'm retired I've got the time. Best of luck on your clean up project.

Rick

Ya still get that right surprised feelin' when ya actually find a tool in the tool box too? I know I do... been down to a walking path around the building since quite some time.
Once a farmer, always a farmer. I don't know a single one of us around here that's any different...

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger!
My goal this winter was to get everything picked up and put away. Pretty much the end of May now and it doesn't look much different - cept for the winter coats and bibs on top!

Let us know if, and how, you succeed.

Hay I still haven't taken the pile of scrap metal and batteries by the front door of my garage to the scrap yard yet! You're ahead of me, or did you just put your junk outside like I do?

I understand completely!! My shed needs cleaned up also, BUT, if I throw something away, I'll need it within a week. If I keep it, I won't need it for another 20 years and then I won't be able to find it. I think the best thing to do would be for you to come here and throw away everything you think I don't need to keep and I'll go to your place and do the same. Chris

Someone said to me one day in my office.A messy desk means a messy mind, looked at his desk and asked what a empty desk means.

I keep everything and throw in a son that leaves everything where he got done with it. What do you think my shop looks like?

My shop garage too. I clear a spot and within minutes my wife carries junk from the house and piles it in my garage.
The kids leave tools and parts strewn in every place and direction was well. When they can't find thier tools anymore. They use and loose mine.
