i finally got to work on the old Oliver. it took a little heat but i finally got the bent and half broken clutch rod off and Cliff did a nice temporary repair on it at the farm. got it back on and sure enough the clutch is stuck enough to bend that rod again behind where he strengthened it. i got it back straight and finally got the clutch unstuck with a lot of big words, a small pry bar, and some good ole john deere multi-purpose lube. on to the carb and mag next.

OOHH Travis:
Please don't tell me you had to use some of that JD "snake oil" to loosen up a 65 year old Oliver! LOL. Kinda like billonthefarm running them mixed breed tractors - can't decide which color he likes best.

Guess you called it right back in January. That clutch rod was bent when I got it but guess letting it sit outside didn't help the issue. Let me know how much more I owe you for taking it off my hands!

PS: Is it gonna be ready for Yates City this year?
