Radiator Hole

Two years ago I punched a similar hole in the
radiator of my Case 1845 skidsteer. Did not have
time to take it off. I took a bunch of JB weld
and layered it in the hole or slice. It has run
every day since.
I agree the best way would be to patch it right.
Also, for years I did my own radiator recores and
patches. I think the reason I am not patching
mine yet is just to see how much longer it will hold
 
If you gotta do it, and radiator has large round tubes and not ribbon flat tubes, you can pull tank from top and bottom(unsolder)and plug tubes that are damaged. Can't plug too many like 10% or rad will run hot. Crimp and clean real clean where they end in tank and solder em shut. 30 tubes means maybe plug 3 or 4. Lotta work unless you like soldering. It can be done. Good luck.
