I watched a movie on TV a few years back I thought was comical. I wanted to see it again but I can't seen too find it on google.
I thought it starred Brian Keith but I must be mistaken as I can't find it on any of the web sites I've searched.
I was hoping some of you guys may have seen it and can tell me the title or if the actor was someone other than Brian Keith.

The plot...An old timer in the modern world wants to have one last roundup and cattle drive.
He has the help of one mexican and against his daughters wishes, he sets off on the trail with 3 or 4 steers. Everyone in town thinks he's lost it. Seems like he rode his horse through the local hardware store in one scene.

After watching the movie you might like to follow up by reading a book called The Last Cattle Drive by Robert Day.

I found the book quite interesting but the language used was somewhat offensive to my old prudish ears. Just be forewarned.

The drive originates somewhere around Hays or Russell, Kansas and the drive takes the cattle to Kansas City to the stockyards.

I believe it is based on fact for the last cross country cattle drive in Kansas.

Even if salty language it was a good read.
