OT Corn emergence

Looking for a little advice guys, corn planted May 5th and 6th ahead of 2 weeks of 6.5 inches of rain,2 gully washers followed by several days of slow drizzle. A lot of washouts and drown corn, the question is how long should I wait before working it up and replanting?

Why wait if you have a poor stand?

If your sure you need to replant, get it done.

Eric; that happened to us years ago. After taking a rough survey of what was washed out we decided not to replant. We bought rotaryhoe attachments for the godig and set them to run in the furrows. This broke the crust and allowed th corn to come thru.
Later(2wks)we had another gully washer. Very little corn was washed out from what was washd out the first time. Something to think about.
Later I had a 2 row surface planter to replant with.

I helped plant some for the ffa and it was still coming up 3 WEEKS later but usualy about two weeks after planting date
