If you like cutting brush as much as I do, you will want the ultimate mulching machine. It shreads up to 1 inch branches.

2004 T5C Terramite. Mad Max was made from a 33 in snapper mower deck and a 30 in blade. Used the 6.5 hp motor off a tiller. Used lumber for the frame work and the forks on the terramite are made from 4 inch channel. The upgraded forks are made from 7 in channel. Designed it so the belt slips when I get into large branches. Just back up and it gets to spinning again. Only run the engine at a fast idle. Only have my time and $10 invested. Had to cover engine with window screen to keep the leafs out of the engine.

The resto job on the Jubilee took about 6 weeks...some day I may post the before and after pics on it. Going to give it a better paint job this fall and put decals on it.

Very nice! Local town has a very similar one that goes on the back of a good-sized Ford tractor and extends out to clear roadside brush. It was also shop-made by their highway crew superintendent, who's considerably handier than average. They've ran it for nearly 20 years.

To use the excavator stick you are facing backward. Have you ever tired driving forward while using you are facing backward? Can't get my foot on the go peddle. Not to mention, when you are using the stick, you need to have the stabilizers down. I can get the front bucket 7+ feet off the ground and the cutter about 10 feet. The back stick can only get about 6 ft.
