A few years ago, my 1956 Farmall 200 ate it"s cam timing gear, and timing gear on crankshaft. HAPPENED AGAIN - This time, it ate the governor gear as well..... (Haven"t got to the crankshaft yet.)

Last time I got parts from a salvage company somewhere in SE Michigan, Corunna, maybe?
Anyone got a name and number for them?

Any other suggestions as to a great place to shop for such parts??? I"m in Central Michigan, and distance is a consideration.

I think you mean Stiener's, they do catalog sales, but last time I called they said they still do a little salvage and gave me the top secret number.

Call and ask. (800) link_disallowed

if you want to drive a bit Hines and Sons is located south of Mishawaka, IN. Only open Sunday and Monday's They probably have one. 574-633-4177 and Myers is located south of Elkhart. may or may not have one (574-294-1008) and are usually a bit high. Have you tried Stamm's in Wayland, MI? What about Worthington in central Mich? They would be able to get one in if they didn't have one in the yard. There was a place in Bremen, IN that handled IH parts but I can't think of the name.

Sounds kinda wierd to me that you are having this problem over and over ? Is there something else going on or are these models that prone to failure ?

There is also a place called
Owosso tractor parts in you guessed it Owosso.

I bought a carb rebuilt kit there years ago.
It is right on M21, I think that is the road.
Runs east and west.

thanks, guys, Owosso is the one I got my previous parts from.. Now I have a name, and I can start lookin" --- soon"s I get the front torn off and assess the whole damage. Gears are pressed on, and pulling old ones off and installing new ones are a bit of a task... Need this tractor for my haying operation, my mower, rake only fit this tractor.
