WD allis chalmers oil leak

oil leak back of oil pan replaced gaskets five times replaced rear main seal upper and lower had to pull motor to do this just put grease on rear seals wounder if i should did any thing different oil pan just leaks in back two drops about two inches apart replaced main bearings oil preasher runs 20 pounds and when motor warms up drops to around 14 pounds need help im at my wits please help thank any one for help bill sales
 

That is a rope seal, right..??

Are you sure the oil is not from the seal leaking just to the Rear of the clutch housing..?

Not uncommon for that seal to be bad,,

Maybe check the pan to see if it is cracked, Ihad one of those sneak up on me. Makes things a little confusing.
 
Replacing the oil pan seal is a pain, but if you have the engine out, turn it over and put in the seal, after checking that the pan is true. Goes in place much easier, gravity helps to hold it there- you can also check for overtightening and shifting of the seal. Soak the end seals in water and set in place overnight with the pan in place- molds to the right shape. Then use the shellac.
