Kverneland Plow Parts

Does anybody know where to find parts for a Kverneland Moldboard Plow. I went with my buddy and his dad to check it out and was in pretty nice shape. It's a One owner Kverneland 6 bottom 16inch plow always stored inside. Bought it for $700. Now when he called a place in Ohio for parts (thinking points would cost around $20) They wanted $87! And I couldn't believe how much he said they wanted for one moldboard, $800 bucks! Thats more than what he payed for the whole plow. Worst thing was the original owner said he had a new moldboard somewhere, Thinks his dad scraped it though when they build there other building (ouch!). So anyways, if anyone knows where there are cheaper parts for a Kverneland plow, I would appreciate it. I'll post pictures of it later.

If its a hydrein model, the price is high because they don't make the parts anymore and dealers know it. There are some parts available in the UK to convert to a modern board but they aren't cheap either.

Yeah, I don't think you will find and "cheap" parts. I have a 3 16 auto reset and it uses the reversable points. They are not too bad but you sure don't want to buy anything else.

That sounds about normal for Kverneland wear parts...
I think you'll also find that they last 3-4 times as long as the 30 buck shares for some other plows.
Molboro sells aftermarket parts for many Kverneland bottoms. They are cheaper to buy... but I don't find they last nearly as well. Much to the point that genuine parts work out to be cheaper, your wasted time not acounted for.

His Dad found a place in Canada that sells Kverneland parts. Points were around $40 there. Doesn't need moldboards anytime soon, still have plenty of life in them. Thanks for the help though.
