When I was a Ford Service Manager, a fellow called me from 28 miles away, said anti-freeze was dripping off the right side of the engine on his pickup, and asked me where it was coming from.

Seriously, after I changed the hydraulic fluid in my D19 Allis a year ago, it airlocked a few times before all was normal again. I just left the tractor idle for 20 minutes, worked the lever a few times, and it was OK.

I was thinking air lock as well. Some more info would be good too. Greg

That's not too uncommon. Let it run awhile with the lift lever in the up position and maybe the pump will eventually pick up the prime. Most likely that is what has happened, it lost it's prime. Although make/model would be helpful some problems can be generic in nature regardless of make/model.
