OT- Ag tie-in, NYC attempted bombing

Thus far, we've learned that Mr. Shazam (or whatever) came back from his bomb training in Pakistan, and proceeded to:

1. Use the wrong firecrackers, so they wouldn't go off sequentially to set things off.

2. Lock the keys to his getaway car (and his apartment) in the bomb mobile.

3. Use the wrong kind of fertilizer (non-explosive).

4. Sing like a bird when they picked him up (and is still singing, I understand).

Since this is an ag board, I'm specifically interested in No. 3. I think most of us know what kind of fertilizer will explode when coaxed (but I won't mention it here- if those fools haven't figured it out, I'm sure not gonna help 'em). Has anybody heard just what kind of fertilizer he used?

And that was some great training he got, wasn't it? Sounds like the "Larry, Moe and Curly School of Pyrotechnics." Hope the tuition wasn't too high. . .

Oh the tuition will be high, he will be paying with his forfiture of his freedom for the rest of his life.

As to the pyro school, it must have been the low bid private (for profit) school. Thankfully he wasn't a star pupil, and sure didn't have a clue from farming. He was just some poor asz dumb fakk who couldn't tie his own shoes. And he held a job working as a financial analyst....WTF????

After the initial report I never heard anything more about fertilizer, just gasoline and propane. I've never had much luck with explosive fertilizer anyway, I think urea works best.

I didn't hear what he tried to us for fertilizer... but I would suspect that someone of his description would have a very hard time acquiring much AN, particularly in an urban setting. You damn near have to sing your life away to get your hands on AN around here...
He probably just went with whatever low grade lawn/garden fertilizer he could get at the garden center.

I got a call 4 days ago from a VFW guy asking for money....Donations, blah, blah for the troops.
I said can I donate .223 ammo? He said...Ahhh....What? I said I want to donate ammo for the troops to kill those $@*^#@$ Arabs! He said ahhhh.....I dont think so sir. Then I hung up the phone.

Well Jeez, Scott, (or maybe, Well, Allah, Scott,) you've gone and spilled the beans! Now those ragheads will be everywhere, buying up all the AN, and my horses will starve for lack of fertilized pasture! Next thing you know, they'll be discovering blasting caps! Oops, my bad. Sorry.

On that note, lets review:

Shoe bomber couldn't get his shoes to blow up.

Crotch bomber couldn't get his Fruit of the Looms to blow up.

Fertilizer bomber couldn't get his horse sh!t to blow up.

If our forefathers had been as inept, the west would never have been conquered. I just hope we can depend on these tools to never wise up. If they ever hire a retired farmer to consult, we'll all be in deep trouble.

I just hope that they are not smart enought to listen to the news because they tell them everything that they did wrong. I would like to know whos side the news media is on.

MN Scott, Urea will blow up. You just need to know how. I have blown many stumps out with it. Most rock quarries use it. Most Urban people don't know how to get the type needed. It is getting harder to get.
I often wonder if these last few fools are the real thing and not just posers. The 911 attacks where well planed out these don't seem to be. I am glad that they aren't.

If I was a dyed-in-the-wool conspiracy theorist, I might think no one could possibly be that dumb, that maybe he didn"t want to set off an explosion...
I might also think that if someone was trying to escape a manhunt, he wouldn"t use his own name to get on an airplane where he was spam-in-a-can for 15 hours...
But everyone knows conspiracy theorists are wackos, so don"t tell anyone if you are one; just act normal...

I heard that he was afraid that his family would be harmed if he didn't do what he was told. Maybe he wanted to fail.
