Hi i would like to to put a set of 8 lug rims off my 3/4 ton chevy and put them on my 1/2 ton chevy but the 1/2 ton has 6 lug hubs. Has anyone know off any place i could find some or could i make them in shop class? I would just like some ideas.
Thanks,

not gonna happen, it may be possible to cobble something up that will do the job, but dynamic forced come into play here the part made must be perfectly ballenced or the truck will shake itself to pieces, if you can keep it on the road that long, also it would require a space of at least 2 inches to make the conversion from the 8 bolt wheel to the 6 bolt hub, which will not only throw the front end geometry all out of wack, but the wheels and tires themselves would be right under the fender lip, if not completly outside the fender like some of these kid cars you see, it would be far better if you just traded your 8 lug rims to someone with a set of 6 lug rims you like, or sell them and buy you a new set of 6 lug rims

Purchase a copy of "4 Wheel Drive and Off Road"
magazine at any good newstand. There are always 4 or 5 ads in there for sellers of conversion
plates.
