Dealer wants $350.00 for each chain.Ones about 6 feet long and the others about 5 1/2 I think.Seems a little high for 2 chains $700.00.So does anybody know of a place to get aftermarket? Thanks BlaineF(WA)

If you can give them the link size and number of links, Albus Conveyors can make chains for you. Don't know what shipping would run, but they UPS/FedEx daily. (715)532-6060

Dunno.... but I'd be very carefull about chain. NH's stuff may be US... or it may not be, but anything with that kind of load on it... I'd want US or German chain. Skip the pacific rim stuff... You'll get it cheaper today, then replace it next week if you're lucky... or tomorrow if you're not lucky.
I'd ask questions and choose carefully...

Try D&L Chain in Aumsville, Or.
I've never personally done business with them, but heard they have a good rep. And they're on this side of the Rockies.

Blaine, you can maKE YOUR OWN chains.they are simple dog chian with 1/2" round stock for the hooks, for less than 50 bucks.I used a 1000 for years,so I know what I'm talking about.you really dont need chains, stack uphill,or,drive a large steel stake between the wagon and the stack and pull out.the stake will hold the stack in place.Call me and I will tell you how to make them and other 'secrets' of the 1000.970-874-3973

Hey DeltaRed
I made the pull away chains . Figured out that you need to tie the 5 tier.Re-arrange the bales in that tier.Am looking for the tricks of the trade on this beast.Only owned this thing 2 years.Chains I'm looking for are the bale pickup and the side shift ones. Thanks BlaineF(WA)
