Glue Recommendations, Please

Folks:
Need to glue new vibration and wear strip to the radiator of my IH 444 diesel in way of the hood-radiator juncture.Strip is high quality chemical plant insulating material. It is porous .

Last glue job was by long-departed mechanic . It held up fine but I can't ask him.
