industrial D-19 Allis

I'm currently restoring a D-19 and found yellow under the orange, appears to be the original paint.Any ideas on how many industrials were made and if the serial # designates an industrial ? Would it be worth more wearing the yellow ?

Allis used yellow primer on most of those tractors....there would be other characteristics if it was an industrial model such as a non-adjustable front axle....

Thanks Eldon, Any thoughts on why she wants to jump out of 4th & 8th gear ? There's no grinding, clashing,or any noise at all,it just won't stay engaged.

You are missing the bungy cord that hooked on the shifting lever to hold it in those gears. That problem was common, especially on 190XTs. Just a little humor from the competition. You ought to hear what the JD guys said.

We have a fleet of 7210 JD's at work, other than the quad-shift the other five spend most of the time stuck in two gears.Or how about that ingenious invention on the Binders called the T/A ? HA !
Just a little humor back at ya !
