removing loader lines

Plan to remove front end loader from a Jubilee soon. Pump running off shaft on front of tractor. Hydraulics have quick connect fittings to allow hoses, loader & cylinders to be removed from frame. (leaving pump, fluid tank, etc. on tractor.) If all is "plumbed" right, I should be able to leave pump attached as fluid will just recirculate thorough pump, tank and controls. Right?

Yes you can do it that way as long as the pump has a suction and pressure return to the tank is will be just fine. That also means the valve body will need to be there since that is where the fluid goes in and out of as a suction/return

old, thanks for the help. Just wanted to check before removal. I will be leaving the valves, etc. Sorry I don't have pics to post. I followed all the lines and there is a complete loop that will allow fluid to move through system, even with loader removed.
