worked out there in the early 80's made big money,just wondering if all the hype is true that oil companies and construction are booming,JOBS O PLENTY,let me know what you know,might just have to go back out there! can't find any decent paying job in Wisconsin.thanks

I have a foster son that quit a state prison job, Not what I recommended, and went to ND and from Jan 1 thru March 31 grossed 25,000.00 another friend up there said job service has 35 pages of jobs avail in the Williston Basin area

It is not as crazy now but has started pick'n back up around here. Two years ago durring the run up oil field crews were every where and any one who would show up and asked for a job was given a hard hat right then. Seems to be alot of rigs pop'n back up and there seems to be alot of workers on the road again. This is in KY so I don't know what's going on out that way but should be about the same, $83 is the same here as it is there.

Yep, things are really hopping in western North Dakota and Eastern Montana. Lots of jobs in the oil field, transportation, construction. Even fast foods outfits are paying $10-11/hr to start!! Hard to find a place to live, so bring your camper!!

farm of US 83 and LOTS of heavy oilfield equipment going north in the last year. They must be doing something big up there.
