my boss bought new scaffold for a special job. Our yard manager had the old scaffold ready to be thrown out so the boss asked me if I could use it so I loaded it up and brought it to the farm 16 pieces of frame and 16 cross braces, All stacked in the old chicken house

That stuff may be old, but I'd trust it much more than some of the new relative thin wall stuff in the marketplace now. Keep your eyes open for the joiner pins that allow you to stack sections. You need to be a bit selective (or lucky) in finding the pins. Different brands of scaffold have different diameter pins and different width of the center collar. Each frame section should have 2 pins available (like 54 total) but you can get by with less. There are places on my house where I stack 3 of the 7ft sections high (yours are the 7ft height). Check your X braces to see that they are all the same length. I have occasionally loaned out my scaffold and they have been returned with different lengths of braces. They are a real pain to set up if you are trying to use different lengths of X braces.

Good Catch!!

Great catch, that sure beats moving a ladder across a house. A lot more secure as well, I just rented a set for a few days, two sets $65 for three days.

Masonary type of scaffold? Heck of a deal for you, I'm envious, but - those look about the most unhandy style I've ever seen to stack & climb up on. That triangle side means you can't change heights, and heck to use as a ladder. I understand the walkthro use of the design, but never saw the extreme triangle sides.

I just acquired some scaffolding that we being thrown out from a jobsite. I have like 10 sections and all of the supports and pins to hold them together, just no wheels or feet.
