Race Is On - Part II

Read last night where Wrigley had helped billonthefarm drop some corn in - with good weather. (Can't comment on his help for the Cubs)

Anybody seeing an "uptick" in the economy. We have just got slammed in the last 2 months - grain bins, schools, cell towers, gravel surveys, etc. In central Illinois or others?
Anybody else seeing it?

Jim

PS: Gotta send the taxes in tonight!

Hey Kruser,

Yeah, my small 2 person MEP firm pretty much sat the last 6 months of '09 and first qtr. '10, but now that the weather is great and I wish I was slow I am chained to this desk about 12 hours a day with no end in sight right now. Something about making hay when the sun shines (keeps this a little tractor related). Work varies from Hotels to Private waste hauler to local resort as well as some work that is probably "stimulus" related.

Also spending my evening wrapping up taxes.

Well I just got back from a short trip to Ottawa Ill and Bloomington Ill and am still in Shock from the impact the wind farms had on my emotions. Ugly ,just plain ugly and scary too at the same time. Why any one would want to rape the land by allowing these monstrosities to be placed on their Farm is beyond me.For a few lousy dollars that will be gone way before these so called "Green" machines have been tore down in favor of some other power producing contraption equally ugly?

everytime i see those damn things out in a rural setting i see red . probably will be out dated before they pay for themselves .
