ford model 860

I am looking at a Ford Model 860, 5 speed transmission with a 2 stage clutch. It has a ford 703 loader, 6' bush hog, boom, and a rear mount carry all with a 100 gallon water tank as a counter weight. The engine runs great, no knocks or rattles. the paint is rough and it has 2 different size tires on the back. Does anyone have a rough idea of what an 860 should go for?
Thanks,
Sam

I'd say $3000 or less would be a good buy. More than say $3500, and then I'd start to question spending that much.
Paint doesn't make them run any better, but I think I would try and find a tire so they are the same size. I'm pretty sure my 860 has 13.6x28 tires on it.

Sam:

In my area, a decent 860 without equipment or accessories will bring at least $2500, probably $3000. Good ones can bring considerably more.

What size rear tires are on it? Remember, old and new size markings are different for the same size tire. That 860 may have come with old size, and one was replaced.

One side is 12.4-28 and the other is 13.6-28. Can anyone think of a good reason to do this? Other than they had an extra one of the wrong size and stuck it on. Will it hurt anything? I thoguth that maybe for plowing it would make the tractor sit level, but I had never heard this.
