JI Case 480B (backhoe) need Manuals

I just bought a Case 480B loader, it has a 3 point hitch instead of the backhoe.
serial #5347124

It came with some Case repair manuals, but what I need is something more like a Haynes Automotive Repair Manuals for tractors.

I need something that explains how to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. I heard that I&T made excellent manuals, but I can't find one for my case 480B or a 580B which is similiar.

Does anyone have suggestions as to 3rd party manuals they would recommend.

Also I would love to know the specifications for the machine:
1. Weight of tractor & loader
2. How many horsepower (diesel)
3. How much weight the bucket can lift

I have a 480D backhoe. I think you will find that a service manual for these machines are quite expensive---like $200 $300.
With that being said, a parts manual is very helpful in repair and information.
You can get one free from www.casece.com. Just click on "parts and service" then "search for parts", then "launch parts catalog. Enter your model number and you will have exploded parts view with part numbers

I have a set of the expensive case repair manuals, they tell me how do do tasks.

What I need is something that give the "WHY", step by step troubleshooting

Don"t think that the I&T shop manual will help you near as much as the Case Manuals.....they tend to be quite general and abbreviated, certainly do not contain trouble-shooting guide.
