Tractor nuts in N.C.

Are there any tractor nuts in North Carolina. Thinking about moving down that way. Winters are to long in Michigan.

There are many tractor nuts here. Eastern NC is nothing but BIG farms.

What part of the east cost is a good place to start looking. Its not much better here where i'm at, and winters are getting too long as well.

Not ready for Florida, don't like the moss hanging out of the trees. Was thinking about Hickory and north a little. I restore tractors and looking for an area that I can do this.

Hurricanes, humidity, and skeeters can be bad in Eastern NC.

Piedmont, Central NC, has a better climate than the coastal plain or the mountains. I should have mentioned below, but be prepared to pay all kinds of taxes. Probably the same almost everywhere, but NC's income tax is the highest in the Southeast.
