Chyrsler alternator

Can/will the older (round) Chrysler alternators be wired up on a tractor as simply as the Delco"s?

If they"re not that simple what is needed to hook one up?

If the Chry. alt has three connections on the back it will also need a regulator wired in but it is not that difficult...Ed

The Delcos are easy 'cause the regulator is internal.

The Chryslers require an external regulator but the wiring is SIMPLE. Post back if you'd like a simple diagram.

The chrysler alternator was my favorite because you could put new brushes in on the car,cost 2 bucks.Regulator on early one ones was a simple relay.
