Just talked to sell farm supply in amarillo tx Vernon sell had heart problem has fellow selling hundreds of tons of old tractors. I always found vernon to be honest anf fair. New frllow seems nice express he also hated to see tractors scraped but hospital bill to pay. He is very reasonable to work with if anyone wants to check on there favoret brand Phone 806 335 2251 .

Had a call from a scrapper today offering $225.00
a ton on the ground here in complete un cut units. That will get a bunch of old combines, dozers and anything else laying around..Seems scrap has went up over 410.00 a ton ever week for
the last 6 weeks..They are begging for it.

Sad to here that the iron is going. Vernon and I go back a long ways as we served in the Army together in the sixty's. I knew he had some problems a few years ago,and was having problems with short term memory. I'll give him a call as I havn't talked to him in over a year.
