Hard Shifting

Have 600 ford with front loader, grinds when changing gears in higher rpm's. Throttle down shifts easier with less grind. Approximately 50hrs on new clutch. Suggestions needed, Thanks

Come to a complete stop before shifting. Your unsynchronized transmission doesn"t like to be shifted like an automobile.

Could your clutch be dragging? Also you have to wait several seconds sometimes before shifting into a gear.

Best to come to a complete stop before you go to neutral. Check clutch free play. What is the oil level in trans, and what oil are you using (most of the all in one oils from tsc are too thin) As they say please consult your manual.

i run into a mechanic the other day who was had for the third time been into the clutch on a ford backhoe,it was doing the same thing, on the forth try and another new clutch disc he found that clutch center was rivited in wrong the flywheel could rub against the clutch center enough to cause the problem
