The Kenyan needs to apologize to the fish. The eagle is a war mongering imperialist who invaded the pond for no good reason.

The Eagle is obviously still wating on his stimulus check. Otherwise he'd a sat on the bank waiting for someone to bring him the fish. This unfunded enthusiasm on his part is obviouly his misguided hunger manifesting itself in our present economy.

Washington has annouced that this Eagle eating your fish is clearly confirmation that the policies of the current administration are effecting an economic turn around and the economy will soon be booming again.

(quoted from post at 19:14:52 03/31/10) Beautiful bird... lots more noble than our Buzzards..

When I was little, I told everyone that buzzards were bald eagles cause they didn't have anything on their head. Never saw a real eagle til I was 20 or so. There is a kind of zoo not far from here that does falconry exhibits with different birds of prey and those birds are kept in big cages or on a long tether. One of them is a Bald Eagle. Haven't been back to the place since I saw it.

A local "animal rescue" outfit rescued 3 ducklings- raised them up, had a little ceremony with many tree huggers in attendance when they released them into a lake. They were waving and wishing the little quackers "Bon Voyage" when an eagle swooped down, grabbed one and flew off. Some of the more emotional huggers burst into tears, some of the more stalwart said it was "nature's way." And then, there were those who were just trying desparately to stifle their laughter. . .
