Hi everyone, I have recently purchased an IH 574 Diesel. I have the serial number but can't find any info about it. Can anyone shed some light on this please. Thanks

I know but how do these numbers in the table relate to my numbers? They don't match up.

left side by clutch:
My numbers= 2310014u003110+

The Serial Number is located on the left side of the clutch or transmission
 
There were 574s made after 1975 - maybe in Canada. Their serial # tag is on casting like under the radiator on the right side; like the location of the serial tag on the 684s etc. I think there are 574s up til 1977. The later 574s seem to have 16.9-30 tires, row crop front axles, lights in grill, small lights under back fenders.

The serial number you are looking for is the part of the number that is to the right of the U. U is for United States, 003110 is the sequential serial number. Your tractor was built in 1971.
