Case DC Tractor

depends on the year 51 (late) up but what exactly is a dc wheateland?? possibly you coul just find a late case D with foot clutch That would be a rare tractor.

Leave it Alone , and learn to drive it ,, THE DC HAND CLUTCH will grow On you and you will LOVE it. .Personally I prefer Hand Clutch . I have a 1954 Foot Clutch DC and one of the last foot clutch SCs built..,Although RARE !.. as others have previously stated on this Forum , To be lucky enuf to have a pair I truly feel Blessed ... Never have needed to adjust the clutch on either tractor , But I am told it is a delicate puzzling procedure.. I was weaned on a 51 DC with a Hand clutch that I used to engage with My Left foot , because I was too Small to push the 70 lbs. with one hand and keep the wheel straight with the other hand to plow a straight furrow for Dad ,, if it was not straight he was gonna put my old neighbor driving the OL' Gent ... and my little pants wanted some seat time Commanding that big fella . So together that DC and I did a straight job ... Hand clutch (especially Live Power models )is really nice for stop and Go WORK like when baling or picking up hay , going thru open and shut gates, You can leave the tractor in gear and nurse the clutch at will ... or when hooking up equipment alone from the ground .... just make sure You got the OL gent idled down, because if you SLIP !!!....?

And when on the ground, be sure it is in a forward gear. Never ever attempt to hook anything up from the ground with the tractor in reverse. You might not get any older!
