2009 Tractor show, and 2010??

Hey Yall!!

I guess i haven't said a whole lot lately, but i look through here most days...
Im getting settled into Michigan still, and right now im building a deck for my dad out behind the house...

My YouTube channel is doing really well, and the other day as i was applying for a partnership, i was looking through some of my videos from back when i was in Ohio, and came across these two...

There from May 24 of last year.. When i went to the Wapokeneta, Ohio show and looked around with my good friend Rich (R Aiken) and had a great day... Watching these made me smile, and that was a great day, it sure was Alot of fun...

And im wondering... Im in Port Huron, MI right now, and i still have the old tractor fever, and im wondering if there are any good shows in this area coming up?? It'd really be fun...

Hey you're in Port Huron now? I live just across the border in Sarnia, Ontario. Out in the country on the Eastern outskirts, but technically still within the city. I'm away at university right now but will be home the end of April. The Western Ontario Steam Threshers have a small (but very good) steam and tractor show in Forest, Ontario, mid-August. It's only about 30 minutes from the border. Website is www.steamthresher.com. I plan on being there with a tractor or two.

Just remembered, the feature tractors this year are David Brown/Case, so there should be a good orange showing!

I really enjoyed watching your videos. Especially since my dad is in both and I am in one. My dad is driving the AC "B" pulling the hay wagon and I am riding on it. We had just got done with the tractor rodeo and was taking the wagon back. I used to work for AGCO in Coldwater and have been going to the show in Wapak for 13 years. I moved to Kansas and still drove back, now I live in Illinois and keep on coming back. I help with my frinds from Ohio to put on the working demonstrations. Would be great if you could make it again this year.

Always same weekend, Fri., Sat., Sun. of memorial weekend.

Who would they be, probably know them. Also possibly you. The Fischer boys handle the threashing and shreading and Red handles the sawmill.

I live not far from you Lanse, up north in the thumb a bit. I went to the show near Owosso last year, in a town called Oakley. It was a big show. The weather wasn't good, plus I had a 3 week old baby with me, but I'm going to try and go again this year. It's a big show, lots of tractors. Has two pulling tracks, a flea market, swap meet. Also has your typical demos. There is also a show at the St. Clair County fairgrounds, which is only minutes from you, just off of I69 to the west. Never been to that one myself though. I think both are at the end of August.
