Hey folks,
Just was offered a place to park our horse trailer that will get it off the street and make the neighbors happy. Will putting planks under the tires be any benefit or just park it and be done (on dirt with no roof). Also, will a couple of socks with mothballs keep mice from invading (same question for a baler)?

If it would be moved once in a while just park it. If it is going to sit for a long period of time you could put some wood under the tires to keep it from sinking in. I have found that moth balls, even tho they don't smell the best, do some good at keeping the mice at bay. That is if you can catch enough moths,LOL.

We use it a couple times a year (one of them "better to have and not, than meed and not have" things). I'll try the mothballs just in case.

Wood under tires, TARP UNIT,Moth balls under tarp. Works for us. Unwraped the 706 yesterday, took off tire chains run the tractor down the road, like I said, "WORKS FOR US" !!! LOU

went to put battery back in my tractor, stinking mice had built huge nest in there, right on top of a pile of mothballs

other machine was clean as I left it last fall

guess that one tribe of mice liked mothballs

Ok well i live in michigan and the best thing that we have found to keep the mice out of things and it does not matter what it is, and that is Bounce Dryer sheets Original scent I put them in everything the snowmobiles the boats the cars anything that you wanna keep the mice out of and it also makes things smell better when you gett them out again
