Great quote from lottery winner!

A part time cashier in a grocery store just won 20.6 million dollars in the lotto 6-49. Normally she can't afford to buy lottery tickets but bought 2 of them. She had $80 to her name, was making $12.30/hr and said she doesn't have a car and would like one. The news then explained that her ex husband left her in financial ruin 2 years ago. When they they asked her about him, while she was holding the big cheque, her response was, "It sucks to be him"! Gotta love it. Dave

Great response. Made me laugh. Hope the "Ex" is really an Ex (legally),or the happy ending will change.

Don't know if any of ya'll remember Andy Granatelli. He was president of the STP Corp and heavily involved in Indy car racing. He was a millionaire at 25 and a multimillionaire by age 30.

When he was 18 he proposed to a gal and she refused to marry him saying he'd never amount to anything. He gloated about it a bit in his auto-biography.

Gotta like it. I have actually shopped in that London No Frills store a time or two.
I hope she invests and spends the 21 million wisely.

I always said that if I won, I would give the same 'ole I am going to buy a house and a car answer.
I would tell them that I was going to spend it on illegal booze and h00kers!!!!!
I bet that would keep me out of the papers and off of the news.

I know a dude that's brother won the lottery, It wasn't a million, but close to it. He had been messin around and his wife left him / seperation. He gave the winning ticket to his new girlfriend so his ex-wife would not get in on the deal.

His new wealthy girlfriend decided she did not neet a cheating creap like him, so she left him setting high and dry -- or perhaps high and cry would be a better way of saying it.

i know a guy that won -------three day's after his divorce was final. the cheatin tramp tried everything to get some of it, but never succeeded.

There is two sides to every story. I suspect she left him in financial ruin as well. Divorces are messy business going from 2 earner incomes paying for 1 residence to separate residences. No financial winners there. Easy to blame the ex for your problems and here we don't know why they couldn't get along and may just be financial issues. Doesn't sound like the have kids. Maybe her financial ruin was because her ex couldn't afford her excess credit card charges or any number of other reasons.
