Hello,
I don't know too much about a custom hydraulic loader with pto pump that has been sitting unused for a few years, I bought this winter but am getting around trying to get onto tractor, was looking for opinions as to what is best thing to do? I now nothing about hydraulics, I plan on draining fluid and putting new fluid in, unless there is better, more important things to do,,.... I guess I'm wondering what would you do with a loader and pto pump that has been sitting a while that you wanted to use?
Thanks

if the rams arent rusted up,i'd just drain a little fluid out of resivoir and see if any water comes out...if theres no water, use it as is...if it has a filter you should change it.

when things/steel sit they draw moister/condensation with the changing temps,if that thing has been sitting it's going to have moisture in the system, drain it out and put new fluid and filter in it,the tractors worth that little bit of coin isn't it?
