New Holland TL100A?

One thing you could do is go to a NH dealer and ask the parts counter guy or a mechanic there how reliable the TL100a is and what problems do they get and so on.

This may help. go to www.external_link
for all info on the model.

They are a fiat tractor under the skin. Pretty well liked machine. The main problem I have heard of is the 52LA loader ford/nh put on them. It is a monster loader and I've heard of broken axles and axle shafts.

I looked at one, the guy used it at his scrapyard to move caddy's around. He was bragging it could lift an unstripped caddy to full height for dumping in the crusher.

That is a heck of a load on the front axle. I'd stick to the 32LA loader instead.

The company I work for has several TL100A"s. They pull mowers with them. We have had all kinds of problems with them. The tractors like to break a shaft in the steering. We have had brake trouble also.

I've run the older TL100, 3.9 L and 24x12 trans fwa & cab.

Newer ones are 4.5L and can have a power shuttle.

Decent tractor, I'd consider it.
