Coming home from a meeting a while ago, on a two lane highway, I came up behind two cars poking along 5-10 mph under the speed limit. There was no oncoming traffic, so I kicked the car in the butt and sailed around both of them. There also happened to be a County Mounty on the scene to give me a warning ticket for speeding. When I got home, my wife was standing in the door laughing. She'd had her scanner on and heard the whole thing. Can't get away with a darned thing anymore. |

| Sounds like you lucked out with only a warning. What was the warning, not to exceed 25 MPH? |

| | I dont' think he ever got an exact clock on me, he just knew I had to be speeding somewhere along the way. I didn't see him until he lit up the landscape, but he evidently was behind me when I nailed it. Then, after I passed the two cars he had to wait for an oncoming car to clear before he could pass them and by then I'd seen his lights and was back down to the limit. (60). |
